Paul Hobbs Winery, Russian River Valley

In 1991 Paul, along with several partners, established a winery in Sonoma County. He specializes in producing small lot, handcrafted, vineyard designated wines. Paul bought 19 acres of prized Russian River Valley land in 1998 and fourteen acres are planted with pinot noir. A new gravity flow winery in Sebastopol was built in time for harvest in 2003.

Aromas of boysenberry and currants. On the palate, cherries and plums and a hint of vanilla. Brambly notes, firm tannins and a lively finish.
