Wines our philosophy
Our aim is to find wines that are true to their soil and heritage which offer fantastic value for money. We look for restraint, harmony and balance in our wines and try to avoid forced, over-extracted styles. Many of our wines are organic, some are biodynamic and we even have a wine produced according to the Mayan principles of ‘cosmoculture’!
Our buying team have scoured the planet for new and exciting wines and have unearthed some extraordinary wines. Take the Dveri-Pax Sauvignon Blanc for instance - an amazingly elegant (yet affordable) wine from Slovenia. We are the sole UK agent for most of our wines and where we do not have exclusivity, we buy directly from domaine to ensure that our prices are always competitive.

Fine Wines
As well as our agency portfolio, we have an incredible collection of fine and rare wines (over 240,000 bottles) which are stored in our vast underground cellars deep in the Wiltshire countryside. Uniquely, we are able to offer many of these wines for sale by the bottle, rather than just by the case.

En Primeur
MARC Fine Wines commenced selling to private clients with the 2005 Bordeaux En Primeur Campaign, which we followed with an offer of the 2005 Burgundies and subsequently En Primeur offers of 2006 Bordeaux and Burgundy.
Our En Primeur strategy is to purchase and recommend wines to our clients which we believe offer exceptional quality, and, where possible, excellent value. In mediocre or ordinary vintages we would prefer to suggest clients replenish their stocks with older vintages which may be underpriced, rather than slavishly recommending En Primeur purchases irrespective of quality and value.
We retain limited stocks of 2005 and 2006 Bordeaux and Burgundy so please do not hesitate to contact us if there are additions you would like to make to your portfolio.
