The Mondino is perhaps the most traditional of Busso’s Barbaresco’s. It is all about the fruit - picked at optimum ripeness and left for a long fermentation and then aged in large bottle.

Barbaresco from the Gallina vineyard tends to be extremely elegant and this is no exception. Aged in Barrique the sturdy structure supports lush fruit and ripe tannins and provides a finely tuned, long finish.

The keeper of the bunch. Closed but showing amazing potential with dense fruit, fine structure and intensity.

Of all the Busso 2006 Barbaresco’s the Borgese is perhaps the most approachable now as it abounds with youthful elegance and floral aromas. Delightful.

Gorgeous fruity nose with soft cherry fruit on the palate. The expected high acidity is balance by just the right amount of tannic grip. Delicious.
